- Project Management and Delivery: - Undertake research and investigations to support the Civils Operations team.
- Infrastructure Development: - Undertake design and construction planning for civil projects, including appropriate specification and documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: - Engage, negotiate, and communicate on project matters within the organisation, external stakeholders, and the community.
- Procurement and Contract Management: - Prepare procurement documentation, including tenders and quotations, ensuring compliance with building standards and statutory requirements.
- Financial and Sustainable Outcomes: - Drive implementation of projects or program plans, monitoring performance and compliance.
- Possession of Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Significant relevant experience in Civil Engineering works, primarily road, drainage, and footpath construction and maintenance.
- Exposure to Municipal Engineering would be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of construction and maintenance site management practices.
- Knowledge of cost control and estimating for road, drainage, and footpath projects.
- Knowledge of traffic management requirements for road works.
- Sound ability to write clear and concise technical specifications.
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings.
