About the role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Processing of specimens including culturing – urines, swabs (various sites), faeces and
Preparation of smears for gram stain, reading of gram-stained slides
Microscopy of cells in fluids, urines
Identification of crystals
Using analysers for urine microscopy and dipstick chemistry
Using analyser for occult blood determination
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
A Science degree obtained from a recognised Australian institution
A current full unrestricted driver licence may be required
Ability to demonstrate sound organisation skills
Ability to work within a team
Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
Ability to work under pressure
