Join our client’s dynamic team as a Technical Officer and play a pivotal role in the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of critical road infrastructure. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant geotechnical, materials, and pavement projects, ensuring the delivery of accurate and reliable information essential for infrastructure excellence.

Your new role 

• Technical Risk Management: Support the management of technical risks by collecting accurate data, performing observations and calculations, providing technical advice, and ensuring compliance with specifications and site conditions.
  
• Standards & Innovation: Conduct a variety of laboratory and field tests, participate in technical trials, and contribute to the advancement of new technologies and policies.
  
• Capability Development: Engage in ongoing training to maintain proficiency in relevant standards and test methods.
  
• Client Services: Assist in delivering top-tier investigation and construction services by managing data and samples efficiently and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

  What you'll need to succeed 
  

• Proficiency in routine and specialist, laboratory and field tests.
  
• Supervisory experience in a range of investigation techniques and field operations.
  
• Competence in using sensitive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
  
• Commitment to safety, quality, environmental, and traffic control standards.
  
• Certificate IV in a relevant technical area or equivalent knowledge and industry experience.
