Technical Officer (Projects) - Local Government

- $48.39 Hourly Rate + 11% Super

- Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 16:00pm
- Petrie Location - Work Close to home!
- Casual ongoing, full time hourly basis

A Day in the Life
Your day-to-day will include the following responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver cost-effective multi-year renewal project plans.
- Implement technical specifications for design and construction projects.
- Manage projects and contracts, overseeing contractor and subcontractor performance.
- Contribute to establishing quality management systems for efficient service delivery.
- Develop and review procurement, tender, and contract documentation.
- Provide key technical advice to management on project matters.
- Actively support local supplier development and seek new potential suppliers.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary Qualification in Building, Project Management, Construction, or another relevant field.
- Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Construction Induction (White) Card
- Demonstrated experience in applying a range of technical expertise in project and contract management.
