About the Position
This is a Technical Officer role that combines office and on-site (outside) work. The position oversees the delivery of the Council’s tree planting and maintenance works. The role also supports large-scale tree maintenance contracts through works scoping, writing specifications, procurement, and contractor management.
About You
You will have good communication skills, able to listen to customers, team members and supervisors. You will have a solid background and qualifications in Arboriculture with an understanding of best practices and contemporary city greening innovations.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A Certificate 3 in Arboriculture as a minimum.
- Experience in contract management and project management within budget and set timelines.
- A valid Australian Driver’s license.
- Experience in working across different teams to influence positive outcomes.
- Passion and value for outstanding customer service.
