Your experience working in soft flooring across carpets, vinyl, rubber and timbers is highly desirable for this role.
Daily tasks include:
- Support the current distribution market
- Develop other flooring accounts throughout NSW
- Deliver technical and sales presentations
- Write specifications
- Train installers
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate technical and sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Have the technical expertise to; write specifications and train flooring installers
- Understanding of the NSW flooring market
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in Technical Sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
