Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Overall responsibility for growing Bioanalytics sales pipeline in respective territory/accounts in Australia and New Zealand
- Financial and market driven to achieve and exceed the annual sales budget
- Build awareness of BLI/SPR, live cell imaging and flow cytometer technology and understand customer application workflow
- Work closely with fellow associates to provide optimal pre-sales information, product demonstration, technical close, and post-sale support
- Maximize customer satisfaction to ensure and promote continued use and adoption of Bioanalytics solution and increase reagents & consumables sales
- Candidate must have a passion for new technologies, selling big box and is customer-centric
- Active in engaging cross-opco network for business growth
Qualifications & Skills:
- BSc or MSc in life science related discipline. Advance education and /or laboratory experience is desirable.
- Must have at least 5 years of sales experience with minimum 2-3 years of direct sales of capital equipment and consumables in pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and government accounts.
- Experience in selling life science instruments is desirable. Understanding of ELISA, HPLC, SPR techniques, Protein Analysis, fluorescence & live cell imaging, flow cytometry, Luminex preferred.
- Proven experience in growing Australia and New Zealand business and establishing new customer network in a resource constraint environment
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Self-driven and achievement motivated
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good database of contacts and network is a plus
