About the role
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a Technical Specialist in our Technology team, you will be responsible for providing onsite IT support to our team members in our Sydney office, including VIP support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure end-to-end processes are followed in identifying, tracking, fixing, and communicating issues to key stakeholders (particularly recurring issues).
- Providing complex client data management services including complex extraction of data for reporting, audit and legislative requirements, and management reporting.
- Ensure troubleshooting / problem-solving system failures and outages.
- Performing system installs and maintenance tasks for Australian Retirement Trust.
- Maintain the Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP and provide support as required.
- Plan, develop and deliver the technical program of work for the Service Operations team.
- Lead the implementation of industry best practice innovations and associated automation activities, delivering efficiency through technology across Sunsuper.
- Manage the end-to-end accountability for timely response and resolution of IT issues impacting on customers, both internal and external.
- Manage the IT Service Operations compliance in terms of Operating System patching, Antivirus protection and Software packaging and deployment.
- Manage the administration of System Maintenance, Task Automation, Mobile device management, software packaging and deployment activity.
- Mentor less experienced staff on the team.
- Manage the process for handover of systems from Projects to Technical Services.
- Provide the business with technical assistance to drive initiatives and improvements using technology.
This role is available as a 12 month maximum term/secondment opportunity based in our Sydney location.
About you
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:
- Advanced knowledge of System Management software products (e.g., Microsoft SCCM) with demonstrated experience in successful Application Packaging, Application Deployment, and other system administrative functions within a commercial environment (e.g., Patch management, Software metering).
- Demonstrated experience in Mobile Device Management and associated administrative software, incl. deployment, configuration, and management of mobile devices in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated experience in performing Windows 7 Enterprise administration functions and associated experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Exchange, Office, Word. Windows 10 and Office 365 experience is also desirable.
- Demonstrated commercial experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience supporting video conference and AV functionality.
- In-depth knowledge of current Microsoft server products and willingness to learn new technologies.
