Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the documentation needs for all SOTI products.
- Estimate, plan, and track documentation projects.
- Regularly report the progress, roadblocks, and concerns to the team.
- Use SOTI products to learn and gain expertise before writing the documentation.
- Design and create online help.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Schedule reviews with multiple stakeholders.
- Be the ‘voice of the user’ within the company.
- Work independently and with limited supervision.
- 2-4 years technical writing experience.
- Proficiency with DITA XML or other XML languages such as DocBook.
- Familiarity with Cloud, client-server, or other enterprise technologies.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical details.
- Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management concepts preferred.
- Experience using XML editors such Oxygen XML.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Proficiency with Camtasia or similar video editing tools.
- Experience using Jira.
