With this in mind, if you feel that you may not tick all of the boxes below but believe you have something unique to contribute to our team, we strongly encourage you to apply - let's have the conversation.We are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Projects & Infrastructure team at Tropicana Gold Mine.Accountable to the Appointed Electrical Supervisor: NPI, this role is responsible for completing planned and scheduled reactive work orders on all non-process infrastructure, including but not limited to the camp village, administration facilities, warehouses and water services. You will also be responsible for providing specialist input and advice when ensuring all facilities and infrastructure are fully available at all hours of the mining operations.Accountabilities:
- Non-process infrastructure maintenance
- Execution of minor project works
- Conducting statutory electrical testing
- Completing daily facility and infrastructure inspections towards continuous improvement
- Generator operation and fault finding
- Submersible pump and soft start equipment installing fault finding and repair
- 3ø test & tag and use of VRD test equipment
- Maintaining Inventory and Stock levels
- Assisting other trades within the team as required
- A current A grade WA electrical worker's license issued under Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation is desirable but not essential
- Data cabling qualifications: Open cabling registration with structured cabling (Cat 5 & 6) endorsement. Registered with ACMA.
- CMMS experience, preferably with SAP is desired but not essential
- A current WA 'C' class drivers license
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
