What will your typical day look like?

In an environment where rapidly changing regulations, societal expectations and digital disruption are transforming industries, we help organisations bridge the gap between risk and opportunity, safely and sustainably.

Joining our Technology Risk team, you will help our clients understand and manage their risks as they leverage digital and emerging technologies to help deliver successful outcomes for businesses, their customers and stakeholders. We help our clients navigate uncertainty and position them to embrace risk and technology with confidence. You will be working with clients to assess Technology Risks and to improve their technology control environments as part of large-scale transformations, informing management reviews, leveraging data analytics to improve risk management and providing specific independent technology audits.

Who will you be working with?

We help our clients achieve core system transformation and digital enablement confidently, and with rationalised and risk-intelligent controls. As regulatory and societal expectations increase and new technology trends emerge, the need for well-designed customer solutions, robust controls, and better use of data insights and technology are key to managing customer outcomes in a responsible and cost-efficient way. Key areas you will work in include:

  • Technology Internal Audit - Providing confidence to our clients that their risk and technology control strategies are working through assessments of various operational processes.
  • Maturity Assessments - Assess and compare our clients' existing Information Technology process with industry, and internationally recognised standards and assist in the development of roadmaps for improvement.
  • Governance - Working with clients to help them improve the effectiveness of the governance across their organisation.
  • Control Analytics - assisting business audit teams leverage data analytics and emerging technology to identify process inefficiencies, internal control breakdowns and provide insights.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

We want team members with an understanding of business environments, IT environments and a willingness to learn how complex IT environments impact business operations. You may also be:

  • Studying towards or recently completed a degree in IT, InfoSys, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce or a combination of these degrees
  • Able to articulate the business perspective of technology transformation and be comfortable working with data
  • An excellent problem solver, communicator and relationship builder who can make the complex simple
  • Keen to get involved with driving technology-enabled change and delivering high quality outcomes for our clients and their customers
  • Tech savvy and able to use (or keen to learn) data analytics and data visualisation tools (e.g. MS SQL, PowerBI)
  • A permanent resident of Australia or an Australian/New Zealand Citizen (required)
