Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Engineer specializing in Fiber Splicing to join our team in Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic systems, contributing to our mission of providing superior telecommunications services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, splice, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and systems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot fiber optic network issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in fiber optic splicing, testing, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications principles and fiber optic technology.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
