A Day in the Life
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Territory Manager with a proven track record in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join our highly successful Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team. This role will cover a Territory in Queensland and report into the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Regional Business Director.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the sales process both capital and consumables, a high degree of commercial acumen and the ability to drive your own success, grow market share and achieve sales revenues. This will be an opportunity to work within a team of talented sales and clinical support professionals and promote highly disruptive and market leading electrophysiology products.
In this role you will:

  • Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions consumable and capital products across the Queensland hospital network.
  • Develop and continue to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at a clinical, procurement and C-suite level, leveraging these for sales of Cardiac Ablation Solutions consumables & capital equipment.
  • Provide case and technical support at Radiofrequency ablation, Cryoablation, electrophysiology and 3D mapping/navigation procedures as required in and out of the specified territory.
  • Form an annual and quarterly business plan that aligns with the Cardiac Ablation Solutions marketing/business plan that can be executed upon to protect and grow the business further.
  • Present the Cardiac Ablation Solutions vision and strategy to key customer stakeholders.
  • Present technical in-services to clinical buyers and provide insight and perspective on state tender pricing initiatives.
  • Log Business Plans, Sales Calls, Scheduled Procedures, Opportunities & Forecast into Salesforce.com.
  • Ensure effective Consignment Inventory management - each location has the right amount of inventory for scheduled procedures, right product, right quantity at the right time.
  • Support and facilitate Cardiac Ablation Solutions clinical strategy through supporting clinical protocols/inventory management initiatives associated with clinical studies.
  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Cardiac Ablation Solutions Business and Product Manager and Divisional Staff.
  • Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained.
Must Have
  • Degree qualifications.
  • Proficiency in consumable and capital sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures in order to operate as a technical support expert.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
  • Some interstate travel may be required on occasion.
  • Valid driver’s licence required.
