Your Role
As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll spearhead sales performance across Queensland, covering areas such as Southeast Queensland’s Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, North Burnett, Northern Rivers, South Burnett, and Wide Bay. You will collaborate with key distributors, consultants, and farm clients, adding genuine value through technical and agronomic expertise.
Your pivotal role involves building and nurturing client relationships, executing sales strategies, and achieving budgetary goals.
Further to the above, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Actively promote, recommend, and sell relevant products to enhance client operations.
- Expand key client networks, tracking customer activity via CRM (Salesforce) platform.
- Manage reseller activities within the defined territory.
- Train resellers on product features.
- Oversee stock distribution and seed allocations within the territory.
- Develop and implement an annual Territory Sales plan.
- Conduct customer field days and walks.
- Communicate and build relationships with key industry personnel.
- Develop, manage, and report on expense budgets.
- Be the primary contact for customer product performance inquiries.
About You
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual with a strong background in agricultural sales, coupled with exceptional relationship-building skills. Your ability to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in driving sales performance across the assigned territory.
To thrive in this role, you should be adaptable, organised, and professional, demonstrating:
- A degree in Agronomy or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven sales experience within the agricultural industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- A current manual driver's license.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
