WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Lead or assist in the delivery of the software components of a Verification and Validation (V&V) program for a defence communications project. Role responsibilities include:
- Planning and mobilising test resources
- Writing plans and procedures
- Conducting tests and recording of results
- Undertaking or assisting with data analyses where required
- Preparation of test reports
- Liaising with customer V&V staff
- Liaising with sub-contractor V&V staff
- Management of any customer furnished items used for V&V
- Assistance with preparing material for project reviews
- Assistance with other project activities as needed
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Skills Expectation
- Tertiary degree (Bachelor's or higher) in computer science, software development, or software engineering
- Experience in software-based systems test & evaluation
- Ability to understand complex system concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Note: We will be considering candidates with different levels of experience from intermediate to senior
Essential requirements
- Live in South Australia
- Be an AUSTRALIAN citizen (non-citizens are unable to be considered due to the nature of our work)
- Be eligible and willing to obtain an Australian Government security clearance and retain that clearance while employed by Ebor Systems
- Willingness to travel within Australia and overseas if needed
Desirable requirements
- Experience with defence projects and ASDEFCON
- Have an existing Australian Government clearance
- Recent employment as a Test Engineer working in the defence sector

The finer details
- $110,000 to $130,000 per year + Super (dependent on experience)
- Fixed term role of 18 months at 38 hours per week with possible conversion to permanent full time.
