Test Manager

One of our Melbourne based consultancy clients is looking for a Test Manager to come on board for a digital transformation project working within Local Government. 

Hybrid Melbourne based role. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios and preparation for Oracle Application implementation project
• Manage the testing process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with project stakeholders
• Identify and track defects, and work closely with developers and software vendor to ensure timely resolution
• Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures
• Ensure unit testing is performed by development teams
• Collaborate with project team (onshore and offshore) to ensure that all testing activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables
• Participate in the development of project documentation, including test plans, requirements specifications, test summary, and user manuals
• Provide regular status updates on testing activities to project stakeholders
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
• Stay updated with Oracle application updates, new features, and industry best practices to enhance testing practices.
• These will apply to both internal SIT and client

• At least 10 years of experience as an ERP Test Lead or a similar role, with a successful track record of managing large-scale ERP implementation projects
• Strong knowledge of ERP solutions, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP ERP, etc.
• Experience in Local Government is preferable.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ERP certification(s) (preferable)
