One of our Melbourne based consultancy clients is looking for a Test Manager to come on board for a digital transformation project working within Local Government.
Hybrid Melbourne based role.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios and preparation for Oracle Application implementation project
- Manage the testing process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with project stakeholders
- Identify and track defects, and work closely with developers and software vendor to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Ensure unit testing is performed by development teams
- Collaborate with project team (onshore and offshore) to ensure that all testing activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables
- Participate in the development of project documentation, including test plans, requirements specifications, test summary, and user manuals
- Provide regular status updates on testing activities to project stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
- Stay updated with Oracle application updates, new features, and industry best practices to enhance testing practices.
- These will apply to both internal SIT and client
- At least 10 years of experience as an ERP Test Lead or a similar role, with a successful track record of managing large-scale ERP implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of ERP solutions, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP ERP, etc.
- Experience in Local Government is preferable.
