Under the supervision of the Therapeutic Day Rehabilitation (TDR) Service Coordinator, the Case Manager/Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of an intensive AOD program, based on the highly acclaimed Matrix Model.
The TDR is an intensive, non-residential AOD program aimed at supporting those experiencing AOD misuse. Interventions are provided using a variety of individual and Group based approaches to facilitate change, improved mental health, recovery and wellbeing. The program team deliver services that are holistic, person centred, recovery oriented and family inclusive including, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Creative Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as life skills groups (cooking, financial management, parenting and social inclusion).
Aftercare provided to clients including peer support groups (AA, NA, Smart Recovery), relapse prevention and social connection activities which are all incorporated into the TDR program for participants to achieve a sustainable recovery.
To be successful, you will require;
- Diploma or Undergraduate degree (or near completion) in AOD, Counselling, Social Work Psychologu, Social Welfare & Counselling, Social Science or other related industry will be highly regarded
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
