We are seeking Investigation Officers to join our Investigations and Enforcement team within the Tax Practitioners Board.
As a Senior Investigation Officer, you’ll undertake and assist in leading challenging and sensitive investigations, into registered and unregistered tax practitioners under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA). You’ll also investigate significant and complex alleged breaches of the Code of Professional Conduct, eligibility requirements and civil penalty provisions that govern their professional and ethical obligations.
You will apply policies and procedures and use your knowledge of regulatory and compliance framework to deliver investigation outcomes. You may be called upon to take statements, conducting records of interview, and will draft submissions of allegations and evidence to support breach findings and sanctions.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Parramatta or Sydney CBD.
