Trades Coordinator

The Company:
Our client, a well-established construction company has an enviable history of delivering effective and efficient building solutions for clients. Covering all industry sectors they utilise various sub-contractors to reinstate residential and commercial properties.
 
The Role:
You will need to build strong relationships with our sub-contractors and suppliers in order to be their priority at all times. Liaising with stakeholders and ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and to our very high standards.  Promote and maintain the highest standard in the execution of OH&S on-site.

• Manage, coordinate, engage and oversee the provision of trade services.
• Attend client sites on a regular basis to inspect and sign-off on completed works.
• Provide regular reports, ensuring trade services are completed to budget and on time.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure appropriate quote and timetables are delivered.
• Address any on-site queries or concerns in a timely manner.
• Promote, maintain, and drive the successful execution of all OH&S standards, practices and systems.
• Ensure safe working conditions in every instance and compliance with all legal mandates.
• Reporting on job costing, provisioning and various other metrics required for monthly

Qualifications & Experience:
To perform this role successfully, you will have:

• Experienced in Site Supervision including the stages involved in completing repair works.
• Experience in  Trade Coordination or Site Supervision
• Prior experience in rapid trade turnaround is preferred, but not essential.
• An understanding of the relevant building codes and standards.
• An ability to schedule work in a sequential order and manage project budgets.
• An understanding of industry rates and sub-contractor costs for the range of key trades
• A valid driver’s license.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft suite.
