Job description:
The Role
We have one exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join the close-knit and hardworking team based at our Esperance Terminal on a permanent full-time basis with travel required to Ravensthorpe on occasion.
As an integral part of our team, you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed and portable machinery. The role will require diagnosing and fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment, which includes but not limited to elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems. You will also be required to complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned with the maintenance function.
The roster is 4 days on/ 4 days off with a sliding night shift required every 4 weeks. Additional hours may be required during our busy periods.
About You
Possess a current WA Electrical Workers License
Hold an unrestricted driver's licence
Possess demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance, diagnostics and problem solving
Able to work at heights and confined spaces
Possess intermediate computer skills
Favourable tickets and experience:
HR class driver's licence
High Risk Work Card
Experience using a computerised management system (SAP)
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems on equipment, devise solutions and perform rectification work.
Current hazardous area installation certification
Senior First Aid Certificate
HV Switching Ticket
Experience in PLC Unity and Proworx N.X.T
Experience in operating SAP Maintenance modules, automation and PLC control systems
