Reporting to & being directly trained by our Service Manager, the primary responsibility of the Trainee Service Advisor is to provide an exceptional Customer experience by promptly answering incoming Customer calls, identifying Customer’s needs, efficiently booking their motorcycles in for service appointments, following up, providing solution to customer queries in a prompt manner by liaising with internal departments & technicians.
Excellent salary, bonus & benefits of offer depending on experience. Working hours Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities.
- Providing a quality service to customers who want to book their motorcycles in for service and/or repair work.
- Manage the end-to-end service experience including booking appointments via phone, email & face to face.
- Meeting & greeting customers, in a warm professional & friendly manner.
- Liaise with the workshop to understand work in progress, keeping customers informed and where necessary requesting authorisation for additional work.
- Dealing with customer's service department queries, ensuring you resolve them to the customers complete satisfaction.
- Undertake dedicated Harley Davidson Service Advisor training online & in person.
- Estimating costs and completion times at the point of sale and clearly communicate them to customers.
- Allocating jobs to technicians based on skill level and resource utilisation.
- Reviewing work-in-progress to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Making estimates for repairs, Cost/invoice paperwork for each customer.
To be considered you will possess the following experience & attributes:
- Verifiable Customer Service experience and ability, clearly demonstrating strong face to face & telephone customer service skills. (Previous work experience within the Motorcycle or Automotive industry is highly advantageous, but not essential)
- A passion for Motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson.
- A fast learner with initiative who takes pride in their ability to provide an unparalleled level of service, care and attention to customers.
- A calm, positive, empathic & personable demeanour with the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Well groomed & presented with strong communication skills both oral & written.
- IT Literate with strong attention to detail & accuracy.
- Adaptable & flexible, punctual and reliable with strong listening & problem-solving ability.
- A positive conscientious work ethos and proactive “Can-Do” attitude.
- Career focused, resilient, with a desire to lead, take responsibility to develop a management career.
- An avid motorcycle enthusiast & ideally a motorcycle rider who'll share our customers passion.
