What the role is
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable trainee Soil Technicians to work in our Wollongong Laboratory. The positions consist of hands-on testing, analytical assessment on data and or the preparation of test reports.
You will work closely with our Laboratory Manager and senior staff and will be trained to perform soil and concrete testing in accordance with relevant national and state standards. The position consists of hands-on testing, analytical assessment on data and or the preparation of test reports.
On the job training is available for applicants with no prior experience.
About you
The successful candidates will possess:
- A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player;
- Excellent communication skills, motivation and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard;
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence;
- Hold a White Card and Nuclear Gauge- highly regarded, however, can be organised once employed.
