About the role
Trainwest is looking for a team player to join our Student Services department. We are seeking a person who has the ability to adapt and respond to student needs, providing a warm and welcoming experience, while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
It will see you, day to day:
- Welcoming students upon arrival
- Responding to Student and prospective student enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Preparing the student learning spaces and maintaining these throughout the day, including the preparation of course materials
- Processing payments, document processing and data entry
- Supporting the training team
- General office and kitchen housekeeping

- Reliability and able to work unsupervised if required

What you must have to apply
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- A valid driver’s licence and transport
- Intermediate skill level and experience with MS Office
- Good written and spoken English
Desirable
- Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation
- Experience working with a CRM
- Basic working knowledge of Xero
- Experience working within an administrative or customer service role
