Form of work Role Purpose The Tyre Service Person Trainee is responsible for safely and efficiently learning a range of tyre maintenance and management tasks at their allocated site. In doing so the Tyre Service Person Trainee will at all times adhere to Kal Tire’s work and safety standards. Core Responsibilities Education Participates in enrolment procedures into AUR21920 (or equivalent) with Kal Tire RTO. Participates in Australian Apprenticeship sign up process, if required. Commits to pursuing effective study towards enrolled qualification. Participates in training and assessment activities as required. Service Excellence Assists in performing all aspects of tyre bay work related to the customer sites as directed. Performs appropriate pre-use checks, and basic care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Assists in maintaining appropriate tyre inspection and maintenance programs on site. Demonstrates and promotes best practices to the customer. Assists in performing out all Earthmover tyre related service work in a manner that achieves the KPI’s in the site’s contractual Scope of Works and in accordance with their skillset and the required supervision. Contributes to the continuous improvement, review and evaluation of tyre maintenance work tasks and procedures to ensure they are both safe and efficient in the delivery of client services. Demonstrates cohesive team work and mutual accountability in the support of other team members and Client functional teams. Actively participates in the Competency Review process as and when required.
