The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Training Coordinator to join our team based in Henderson. Reporting to the QHSE Manger, you will be working within the QHSE Team, holding responsibility for providing integral competency training and administrative support to ensure our people have the necessary competencies to carry out their responsibilities across our projects safely and effectively.
The Role
- Maintain all training and compliance records in a central system.
- Develop and maintain a central training database and provide regular reporting on training/competency status of employees across Australia business – particularly ensuring certifications, qualifications and tickets are up to date at all times and tracked to ensure personnel are able to mobilize to site compliantly.
- Provide advice on an annual training budget and provide reporting against that budget.
- Identify and liaise with suitable external training providers and monitor effectiveness of courses being delivered.
- Develop competency management framework and associated tools and manage the Verification of Competency process ensuring it is consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, and schedule training programs/courses as required.
- Raising POs and receipting for training programs delivered via external organizations
- Logistical management for training activities including venues, equipment, communications.
- Undertake training needs analysis in alignment with competency management framework.
- Coordinate inductions and onboarding process for new starters and track completions.
- Maintain and develop online/e-learning induction modules ensuring content is current.
- Develop and coordinate reporting requirements both internally and with customer requirements.
The Candidate
You will be a passionate and qualified training professional with a good understanding of industry related qualifications, tickets and licenses. You will have the ability to build online learning modules and programs and have a focus on relationship building. Your experience in facilitating training programs and comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Quality Training Framework will ensure you excel in this role.
