ECB Training Services is an Indigenous owned Registered Training Organisation that has been operating since 2013. ECB Training Services have been heavily integrated across Tier One Construction Projects delivering both site based and off-site training throughout Victoria and Northern Territory.
About the role
ECB is seeking to employ a Training Coordinator to join the Altona North team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verification of Competency (VOC) Co-ordination and Management of Database.
- Schedule training delivery in collaboration with service managers, supervisors, and foremen.
- Communicate accurate and complete training schedules and course information.
- Document and report student evaluation scores and attendance, and report on performance against metrics.
- Maintain student records in line with ASQA and WorkSafe requirements.
- Distribute pre-enrolment information to individuals or referral agencies as required.
- Process student enrolment applications and student administration during the enrolment process.
- Raise and maintain student files in accordance with ECB Training Services records management requirements.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries from members of staff, the public in a polite and professional manner
- Produce and submit AVETMISS reports on the required reporting cycle and in accordance with reporting format standard as directed by ASQA.
- Assist Managers & CEO with ad-hoc duties.
- Update marketing materials in line with standards.
Skills and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) preferably Vettrak
- A very good understanding of the VET quality framework
- Proven experience managing an office in a fast-paced fluid environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage staff and sub-contractors.
- At least 5 years' experience Business Administration
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a training organisation
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration
- Proven experience a Training Coordinator
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyse data to drive decision-making.
