Our team is in search of a motivated, well-organised individual with a proactive mindset to join us as the Training Coordinator within the Riverina Community College team. This dynamic role involves providing exceptional service and assistance to students at every stage of their learning experience. Additionally, the role involves coordinating training programs and managing accounts for stakeholders in the Riverina region.
About the role…
This role will require you to:
- Support students from enrolment and throughout the student journey to track and monitor progress in accordance with the NSW Smart and Skilled contract and funding models
- Review student needs for specific for program recommendations
- Obtain and apply a working knowledge of Smart and Skilled student eligibility to discuss with prospective students
- Coordination of training programs including but not limited to trainer course induction, resources, venue, and equipment requirements
- Completion of weekly reporting in relation to student progression and associated revenue
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise outcomes for the department through account management processes
- Support trainer onboarding
- Review reporting on trainer performance
- Provide services that improve student satisfaction.

To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following:
- High level administrative experience
- Extensive organisational, communication and time management skills to achieve deadlines each month
- The ability to recognise and drive potential to better the lives of vulnerable student cohorts
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage tasks and use initiative to problem solve
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel
- Previous experience within the VET sector or a training organisation is highly regarded but not essential

Riverina Community College is a Wagga Wagga based community organisation working within the NSW community colleges framework, supported and partially funded by the Adult Community Education (ACE) unit of Training Services NSW.
