Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. As a large open cut operation employing approximately 800 people drawn predominantly from surrounding LGA's in the Hunter Valley, Ravensworth has a strong future with a long mine life. The Role
An opportunity exists at our operation for a Training Officer. Reporting to the Senior Training Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible;
- maintaining competencies and skill sets of relevant departments.
- Coordination and facilitation of training and assessments.
- Assisting in the developing and maintaining of training plans and e-learning modules.
About You
We are seeking a person of exceptional character, who is values driven with strong leadership qualities and capability.
You will also have;
- Relevant qualifications in Training and Assessment or other relevant educational field of study
- Working knowledge of Coal Services Order 34.
- Working knowledge of mining operational requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong teamwork, planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
