Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and empower your Training Team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
- Partner with business units to identify training needs and develop a comprehensive annual training plan
- Manage training budgets with a keen eye for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee training program execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Continuously improve training processes to maximize learning outcomes
- Build strong relationships with internal and external training providers
- Proven leadership experience in training and development
- Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality training programs
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience a plus
- Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations (a plus)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred) or a relevant tertiary qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and National Training Packages as applicable to the industry
- Understanding of relevant industry training requirements and safety regulations
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record-keeping systems
