About the roleThe Rural GeneralistNurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner (NP/TNP) will be centralised to support Narromine, Trangie, Warren & Peak Hill within the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD). The position will provide autonomous and collaborative care in an advanced and extended nursing clinical role targeting three of the six meta-specialities including Emergency/Acute, Aging/ Palliative, and primary health care. These roles will function both within and across the sites and services within these networks. Rural Generalist NP/TNPs need to be able to manage a broad range of acute and chronic presentations across the lifespan to address patient and community needs. NP/TNPs will receive and make referrals to facilitate integrated care across disciplines or teams.
