A new opportunity has become available to join our Wingfield yard. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will provide exceptional service to our customers and support the Transport team with administration.
You will be rewarded with ongoing mentoring opportunities, working for a sustainable growing business in a supportive and friendly team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and responding to phone calls that come through to the transport team
- Opening, sorting and directing correspondence to appropriate personnel
- Processing invoices, taking bookings
- Maintaining transport systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data, as well as generating reports from these systems
- Recording and escalating complaints in a timely manner, in line with company procedures
Essential Criteria:
- Previous work experience demonstrating good organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of Windows based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
- A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and be comfortable collaborating with others to problem-solve and develop your knowledge
Desirable criteria:
- Experience within a similar role within the Transport, Logistics or Freight industry
