Transport Administrator

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Transportation Administrator to work with one of our esteemed established clients. You will play an integral part within the team to achieve it's objectives utilising your experience and knowledge of permits and NHVR requirements.

Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Package is essential to this role. You will be running multiple Excel spreadsheets and Word documents ect.

This role is a temporary (casual role) with view to Permanent for the right candidate. 

What your new role will entail:

• Coordinate new starter processes including, but not limited to, site access and induction requirements.
• Maintain site and personnel records;
• Undertake data entry and reporting on items such as payroll;
• Process permits and clearances; 
• Maintain accurate transport documentation of heavy haulage and general haulage for all internal freight;
• Maintain plant within the NHVAS System;
• Maintain NHVR accreditation compliance;
• Utilise the Intact system; and
• Assist with the collation of information for quarterly compliance reports.

Skills and experience

• 1-2 years minimum experience in the transport industry;
• Highly favourable to have exposure to permits and NHVR requirements;
• Well-versed in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook;
• A high typing speed;
• Immaculate personal and professional presentation;
• Organisational skills;
• Solid communication skills, both written and oral;

Pre-Employment:
All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
