Transport Controller

The Role:

• Schedule all transport movements of Alfasi Equipment Hire VIC branch to suit company and client requirements.
• Maximise the utilisation of the Alfasi owned trucks and trailers, and support the operation through the appropriate use of Sub- Contractor drivers.
• Ensure compliance with all current road rules for transport including arranging permits, pilots, and police escorts etc.
• Maintain copy of all current road and safety regulations and legislation 
• Oversee Alfasi drivers, hours & time sheets.
• Oversee all sub-contract drivers and ensure inductions are current.
• Liaise with the Hire Desk
• Communicate with workshop to ensure run-ups of access equipment is done in a timely manner to ensure they are ready for immediate re-hire.
• Liaising with other AEH personnel to coordinate pick up and deliveries as well as any sales inquiries

Requirements:

• High level of administration and computer literacy, strong and confident sales person
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• High level Problem Solving Skills
• Minimum 2 years in similar role/s
