Financial Controller 

Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our family logistics business in this fast paced pivotal role. 

As the Financial Controller, you will play an essential role in providing the company with key business information to the director and General Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Administration and financial reporting of the business, and taking charge of the AP, AR and payroll aspects of the Administration task. 

Responsibilities 

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.  
• Tracking, reporting, and analysing P&L improvement areas.
• Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
• Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Forecasting future financial performance
• Preparing and analysing budgets
• Providing accurate financial reports to management
• Design and document internal controls, optimise asset utilisation, and provide insightful reports to enhance business performance.
• Work with Management Teams to implement as upgraded ERP platform.
• Oversee Development of a suite of Business Metrics and KPI’s 

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. 
• Professional certification (CPA/CA preferred). 
• Experienced and competent background in financial reporting and management. 
• Proficiency in the application of accounting processes, procedures and use of accounting and ERP software. 
• Advanced use of cloud-based software applications including Xero and MS Excel. 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory compliance requirements. 
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
