Onsite role – Western Sydney
Fantastic career opening for experienced Transport & Logistics professional to join this reputable and successful national business. As a result of continued growth and expansion, the organization seeks a proactive and efficient Transport Planner to join their NSW state team.
Responsibilities:
Plan all aspects of the transport function including linehaul, pickups and deliveries
Communicate plan to internal stakeholders and operations teams
Plan transport inline with all company, regulatory and statutory guidelines
Implement transport plan efficiencies
Ensure transport software system is operational, consistent and accurate
Understanding and working knowledge of HACCP
Investigate service failure, loss or damage of customer goods in a timely manner
Work with management on continuous improvement initiatives and projects
Ensure KPIs are achieved and customer service standards are exceeded
Key Criteria:
At least 3 years of Transport experience
Excellent working knowledge of NHVR (National Heavy Vehicle Regulator)
Good understanding of fatigue management practices
Well organized, high levels of initiative, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and achieve KPIs
Excellent computer and CRM skills – Salesforce and Translogix highly regarded
Proactive, excellent communicator and team player
