Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 470 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision, targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity
Seeking an enthusiastic Travel Officer to join our Commercial Division. The Travel Officer will be responsible for coordinating travel requests. This is an instrumental position to effectively manage the document control and delivery of travel resources meeting the needs of Dampier Bunbury Pipeline employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Books flights, accommodation, hotel and vehicle hire for personnel, as requested
- Manages all Compressor Station accommodation and rental properties
- Ensures maintenance services are adequately supported with flights and accommodation on time and within budget
Serves as a general resource and point of contact for all travel related issues and concerns
- Reconciles the Travel Departments invoices and purchase orders for Accounts Payable
- Assesses and implements the Travel Management system requirements and improvements
- Allocates all remote travel kits to personnel and ensures all necessary documents and data entry is captured correctly
- Effectively manages the administration of relevant equipment assigned to individual remote travel kits and actively maintains audits on this equipment
- Manages the administration of Satellite (SAT) phones, and Call Signs, SPOT devices, NAVMAN memory cards
About You
- Previous experience and understanding of the Travel Management process
- Experience in administration and purchasing related functions
- High level of computer literacy
