Having recently expanded into Qld with a large Used Car retail operation, we now require additional Automotive Technicians to service and repair incoming Used Car stock and have them ready for sale.Are you regarded as a top preforming technician/mechanic? With the experience in Used Car reconditioning.You will be Servicing all types of vehicles and light commercials; we require automotive technicians who have experience in the repair of Used Cars and understand the need to control costs while providing a high degree repair work to adhere to the warranty requirements of providing top quality Used Cars for sale.We are looking for Mechanics who want to work in a fast-paced workshop environment, provide outstanding reconditioning work and enjoy a great work/life balance.If this ticks the boxes for you, you need to apply now.Essential Skills

• Cert III or higher qualification and as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Developed mechanical knowledge of Automotive Industry
• Ability to work productively & efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Knowledge and operation of all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
• Are reliable & punctual.
• Be highly motivated & a self-starter.
• Have a high attention to detail with ability to produce high quality workmanship.
• Used vehicle reconditioning experience highly regarded.
• RWC & A/C Licenses Highly regarded.

• Providing accurate advice in relation to mechanical condition of trade in vehicles

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues and defects.
• Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Manager and recording information using service reporting system.
• Always Maintaining a safe working environment
• Other general workshop duties where required.
• Periodic engine and vehicle maintenance
• Mechanical repairs and regular preventative maintenance routines
• Maintaining paperwork with thorough and excellent communication skills

• Hold a Certificate III in Light Mechanical or higher.
• Have a strong work ethic with a high attention to detail.
• Have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Can prioritize and adapt to changes in daily schedules.
• Demonstrate safe working practices.
• Clean driving record with a manual license
• RWC & A/C Licenses highly regarded.
• Own Tools

• Generous SIGN ON BONUS $2500.00 Plus pay structure with above award hourly rates of between $35- $38.00 per hour depending on your experience. Opportunity to do overtime for those wanting to earn additional income. Plus, non-contributory superannuation.
