We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Wholesale Manager to join our team at Midland Mitsubishi.
You will be working closely with the Dealer Principal and Used Car manager overseeing the buying team, purchasing, and wholesaling across our sites. The role will involve providing direction to buyers, maintaining vehicle inventory, overseeing purchasing of vehicles and wholesaling. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining business partnerships to achieve strong results and profitability.

The Role:
- Identify, source, and purchase wholesale vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, and other channels while maintaining profitability.
- Effectively manage the wholesale vehicle inventory
- Build and nurture strong relationships with wholesale clients, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Accurately appraise wholesale vehicles
- Oversee a team of buyers, leading and providing training and guidance.
YOU:
- Understanding of Used Vehicle operations, buying criteria and decision-making processes
- Financially astute with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A natural leader, mentor and developer of staff with focus, passion and determination
- Ability to manage used car stock, purchasing and valuations, ensuring profit is maximised and a positive return on stock investment
- A strong work ethic with the confidence and enthusiasm to motivate and drive the team to achieve targets
- Current C Class drivers’ licence
- Previous experience as an Automotive Buyer or Sales Consultant is essential
