About our role

• Work with the customer and Simplot teams to create a customer-level execution plan to achieve service targets
• Identify risks to the replenishment plan
• Hybrid based at Coles' head office (2 days) in Tooronga, Simplot's head office (1 day) in Mentone/Moorabbin & 2 days WFH

An exciting internal opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed team member to join our Customer Service & Fulfillment division as Vendor Replenishment Planner. Our customers include the major retail supermarkets and whilst the Simplot head office is located in Mentone/Moorabbin, this role will be split between being based at the Coles head office in Tooronga (2 days per week) and 1 day at our office in Mentone/Moorabbin and hybrid WFH 2 days per week.
What you will do
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the process for accurate product replenishment, based on customer and Simplot collaboration forecasting outcomes. This role is integral to achieving supply chain efficiencies for both Simplot and Coles and includes:

• Building and managing internal/external partnerships to ensure delivery of the account objectives.
• Accurate and timely management of the customer replenishment systems, processes and communication protocols to achieve the best possible service levels to stores.
• Ensuring data integrity of the Simplot product range within Coles.
• Identifying and recommending changes to drive process and activity efficiencies to reduce cost.
• Ensuring new line orders and availability into the Distribution Centre meet the required timelines for layouts.

About you

• To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience within Supply Chain, Sales or Customer Service.
• Ideally you are an experienced VRP / Merchandiser who can manage your stakeholders with effective two-way communication.
• Ideally advanced with Excel skills, you are also a “relationship manager” who can apply an analytical mindset to translate data into meaningful insights and actions.
• You hold excellent social and presentation skills with the ability to run the bi-weekly Collaboration Meetings and build relationships.
• You will have excellent planning and time management skills and be a strong communicator and problem solver.
• Demonstrated ability to develop cross-functional relationships.
• Ambitious and are ready to take that next step in your career.
