Position Number: 2211 Location: Queanbeyan
The Package: $61,886.76 - $68,382.08 gross per annum + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) Guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full time – 35 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
Council is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Performing Arts and Culture team as a full-time Venue Attendant.
In this role you will:
- Provide professional customer service to the public.
- Assist in the setup of functions and events.
- Oversee catering, food preparation and service.
- Oversee cleaning duties as required.
- Ensure the provision of audio/visual equipment and support.
We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates relevant experience in events and/or hospitality.
- Is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrates abilities in time management, planning, and organisation.
- Can effectively communicate in oral and written form.
Possession of a NSW RSA Competency Card and NSW Working With Children Check is desirable, however Council can assist the preferred applicant in obtaining these.
