The Auriga Marine division is looking for experienced Deckhands and Mates to work on landing barges operating in the Northern Territory, with a 28:28-day roster. This even time roster is a great opportunity for anyone.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mate
- Minimum qualification of Master <24M Near Coastal
- High Risk Forklift Licence – Loader and Top Lift forklift experience
- First Aid
- Drivers Licence – HR licence highly desirable
- STCW/COST/GPH Endorsement – highly desirable
- Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness
- Wearing of appropriate PPE
- Comply with company policy and guidelines
- Assist in keeping a safe work environment
Deckhand
- High Risk Forklift Licence – Loader and Top Lift forklift experience
- Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness
- First Aid
- Drivers Licence – HR licence highly desirable
- STCW/COST/GPH Endorsement – highly desirable
- Wearing of appropriate PPE
- Comply with company policy and guidelines
- Assist in keeping a safe work environment
Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Responsible for deck and cargo operations under the direction of the Master;
- Responsible to the Master for the execution and compliance of the assigned vessel SMS; and
- Responsible for the overall safe and competent operation of the bridge when on duty as Officer of the Watch (OOW).
