VET Program Coordinator - NursingVocational Education and Training, Fremantle CampusFull-time, Ongoing position. What is VET at UNDA?The University of Notre Dame Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and offers a number of Vocational Education and Training courses (VET) at its Broome, Fremantle and Sydney Campus’s including Education and Nursing. Vocational Education Training (VET) at Notre Dame is dedicated to providing exceptional outcomes to students and industry partners. We aim to be the conduit to Higher Education by providing the platform to help all students succeed in education and work, to make a career change or as a pathway into higher education through the UNDA registered Training Organisation (RTO). Key responsibilitiesEffective oversight, coordination and delivery of all VET Nursing qualifications. Responsible for ensuring the compliance of the Diploma of Nursing program with the Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards (ENAS) at all times. Provide expert advice on VET Nursing qualifications as the discipline leader and oversees the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Nursing program, ensuring that VET programs are consistent and compliant with VET Quality Framework and standards. Day to day management of all administrative matters relating to operational and strategic planning, governance, budgeting, reporting, resource management and workforce planning. Initiate and foster professional relationships and networks within the University community and with external stakeholders, professional and community organisations and clients. Operate as a subject matter expert and in conjunction with Regulatory Assurance to support validation and moderation activities. Contribute to the training and assessment delivery of VET courses, by providing adhoc support and backfill. Delivering teaching and conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions, including associated marking and assessments. Assist the Compliance Manager to conduct audits and random checks to ensure compliance with all requirements. ABOUT YOUA minimum of a tertiary qualification in Nursing with relevant experience in industry relevant to your qualificationCurrent registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings related to performance or behaviour. A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to complete as part of their employment. Demonstrated experience of working within of the current standards of RTO requirements. Advanced understanding of VET delivery and RTO compliance and funding requirements and an understanding of the Australian training environment including Training Packages and reporting requirements.Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in the VET sector.
