We are seeking a Western Australia / South Australia Program Coordinator to join our team. The role will encompass office-based work along with guiding. We are seeking someone based in Western Australia who is open to working from home. The role has the potential to progress into a Western Australian Operations role in the future.
Your Mission:
To connect people with the natural world and different cultures in an active, immersive, social, safe, and fun environment by:
- Ensuring the philosophy, culture, and ethics of World Expeditions are maintained and enhanced.
- Collaborating within a team to lead and mentor a small group of skilled wilderness guides.
- Contributing to crafting and executing aspects of our business plan.
- Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of our company vehicles and gear.
- Contribute to crafting and executing aspects of our business plan.

You are:
- Approachable and highly developed leadership and relationship management skills.

- A clear communicator who can encourage teams to perform their best.
- Impeccably organised with a high attention to detail.
- Comfortable with responsibility and always striving for improvement.
What you bring:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Western Australia’s hiking trails and National Parks.
- A wealth of experience in outdoor/adventure guiding, evident from a distinguished track record.
- Demonstrates adept leadership skills, effectively managing teams with finesse.
- Genuine commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Ability to navigate the complexities of delivering exceptional tourism experiences in remote areas.
- A track record or understanding of collaboration with Land Managers and esteemed figures in the tourism sector.
- Proficiency in managing a fleet of vehicles
- Proficient expertise in maintenance and repair skills.
- A sound understanding of business and financial acumen.
Desirable qualifications:
- Knowledge of South Australia’s hiking trails and National Parks.
- Cert IV or above in adventure guide/outdoor education or similar
- Wilderness fid aid or equivalent
- Minimum of a manual LR license
- Public passenger endorsement
- Any other degree or qualification that helps you become an excellent leader and manager.
