RAAFA has a wonderful new opportunity for a Veteran Services Program Manager to join our team. As a veteran from the Australian Defence Forces, your experience, knowledge and understanding will help other veterans in need of support. This role provides a unique opportunity to truly make a difference to the lives of veterans across Western Australia.
As RAAFA’s Veteran Services Program Manager, you will focus on the coordination and management of various veterans support and advocacy activities including RAAFA’s emergency accommodation and social support programs.

Skills and experience required:
A veteran of the Australian Defence Force.
An understanding of trauma-informed care and experience in working in the mental health conditions and wellbeing field.
Responsive, creative, and flexible in meeting the needs and wishes of Veterans, Mates, representatives, and key stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time management skills along with a common-sense approach.
Friendly, approachable, and helpful demeanour, work manner and ethic.
A genuine interest in veterans and an understanding of current veteran-related issues.
Experience in establishing and managing an end-to-end operational service (desirable)

Have a National "C" Class Drivers Licence.
Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one.
