We are seeking an experienced receptionist from a specialist administration background with good work ethic and enthusiasm to come join our small hard-working team for 2 days a week Thursday and Friday between 9 – 4.30pm.
We are an established Medical Specialist Clinic dedicated to the care of our long-term patients with our main office located in Hampstead Gardens.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of Genie and MYOB – essential.
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge – essential.
- Experience with Zoom Software – preferrable.
- Skills in operating EFTPOS.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Learn new skills efficiently.
- Excellent phone manner and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be able to work well under pressure solely and within a team.
- Ability to show an empathetic demeanour toward our patients.
- Honesty and integrity and ability to work with confidential sensitive information.
- Proven team player.
- Be available to work between 9-4.30pm Thursday and Friday’s.
- Be available to cover sick and holiday leave.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Open and close of clinic.
- Faxing, scanning, filing and mail.
- Data entry.
- Attending to the phone and dealing with bookings and patient enquiries.
- Sending and responding to emails.
- Supporting and liaising with our busy Specialist Doctor.
- Preparation of patient’s files for consultations.
- Processing payments, Medicare transactions and end of day settling.
- Invoicing and receipting through MYOB.
- Debt recovery.
- Reviewing and sending medical reports.
- Light housekeeping.
