Greencross Mandurah is co-located with a Petbarn store right next door, allowing us a healthy cross referral of patients. Join a 3 Vet, 6 Nurse team working in a large and fully equipped clinic.
The Role:
- Casual with the option to become permanent in the future for the right applicant
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients
Our Ideal Applicant:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with minimum 2+ years of experience
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- A calm and friendly presence
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
