We are seeking an exceptional Client Account Manager to join our team and lead the account management one of the firm’s largest accounts in the financial services sector. This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, and we offer excellent WFH flexibility.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Client Account Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will be anything but routine!

You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a key client relationship. Reporting to the Financial Services Team Leader and working closely with the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) and the account leadership team, you will be involved in all levels of strategic account management.

This includes client relationship development, helping leadership to define account strategies, and understanding client needs through to the day-to-day execution of the account operations.

Crucially, you will be working with a cohort of Senior Partners and have the opportunity to own and manage a prominent client and drive delivery that is impactful and differentiates Deloitte from its competitors.

You are an enthusiastic, resilient & pragmatic individual who can drive account strategy and planning. You’ll be well equipped to facilitate the development and implementation of strategic client relationship plans, focused on delivering the best of Deloitte.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

  • 3 – 5 years experience in account management or similar role, operating within a complex account management environment

  • The ability to influence and respectfully challenge senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to interpret data and identify trends

  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, know when to make sound judgement calls and when to delve deeper with senior leaders

  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and manage projects to conclusion

  • Can work independently in a high-performance team environment and collaborate with firm-wide resources

  • Understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management, or ability to learn quickly

  • The ability to contribute to business process improvements

  • A background in the Financial Services sector or the ability to quickly learn about the sector/industry preferred but not required

  • Professional services knowledge is an asset

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
