We are a well-established small animal practice situated in Two Wells, South Australia and the opportunity has now arisen to add another nurse to our team.
Our case load is varied, ranging from routine vaccination and desexing, to second opinion consulting, advanced referral surgeries (orthopaedics and soft tissue) and stem cell therapy. Over the past 20+ years our services have expanded to also include rehabilitation, with the installation of an underwater treadmill, and CT scanning and fluoroscopy, so there are development opportunities across a broad spectrum of interests. We encourage continuing education and give our nurses a high level of responsibility (within their capabilities).
To fill this role you will be:
- Experienced, with a minimum Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- Skilled in all aspects of nursing (medical, surgical and reception)
- A good problem solver
- A good communicator
- Well organized with attention for details
- Well presented and well spoken
- Proactive
You will be expected to:
- Provide a high level of support to our veterinarians
- Provide a high standard of care to our patients
- Provide caring and empathetic service to our clients
- Contribute to a caring and supportive environment for staff
