Reporting to the Senior Village Manager, the Village Manager will have the ability to take ownership of the role, while being able to think outside the square to ensure the smooth operation of the village services as per company requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Village Manager in a similar environment (fly in / fly out basis). The point of hire is Perth (WA), working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when dealing with village residents, visitors and staff.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with residents, colleagues and visitors.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the site-specific scope of works to ensure that company requirements are met with the highest level of quality.
- Ensure all licensed areas of the site are compliant with relevant legislation and licensing laws.
- Continually encourage and develop workforce performance.
- Complete all operational reporting documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Have sound knowledge of OH&S requirements both legislative and site-specific.
- Ensure all employees are competently trained in all aspects of their individual positions.
- Ensure the food standards at site are compliant and in line with HACCP plans, Critical Control Point (CCP) and all records and schedules are complaint within the management system.
- At least 2 years (minimum) prior village management experience in a remote environment
- Very well-developed people management skills
- Safety awareness
- Ability to multi-task and organise an ever changing and diverse workload.
- A positive attitude toward providing excellent resident service.
- Competent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
- Provide a National Police Clearance less than 2 months old.
- Hold a WA Approved Manager's Liquor Licence
- Hold a Food Safety for Supervisors Certificate (desirable)
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
