We are seeking a part-time permanent Village Services Officer for Cypress Gardens to be able to fit and fill the gaps when and where required under the scope of authority and responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with vibrant village events
- Catering duties to serve meals & beverages.
- Overseeing our community facilities
- Responding to resident enquiries at reception
- Responding to call outs
- Undertaking first aid checks when and where required
- Initiating emergency services where required
- Basic admin tasks
- Conducting welfare checks on residents
About You
- The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, reliable and have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- A professional and positive approach is required at all times to ensure that all residents’ needs are met.
- A background in either hospitality or aged care would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Be motivated and able to take initiative.
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
